Pixel Fishing is an ERC-721-based generative NFT collection on the Ethereum blockchain consisting of 9,999 fully animated sea creatures. The collection consists of over 200 unique pixel-art style sea creatures and over a dozen attributes that can be selected from a huge list of features.
But beneath the surface 🐠
Pixel Fishing is built on an innovative, time-based hand reveal system that gives collectors more control over what they end up with.
The process is simple. The collector begins by minting an undisclosed NFT "bait." Then, depending on when the owner goes "pixel fishing" with their bait, activating the hand opening process only gives them certain creatures specific to a particular season. In the "Fishing Seasons" table you find what season it is and what creatures can be unlocked on a particular day. After opening the NFT, if you don't like a creature you caught, you will have the option to re-spawn/reverse up to 3 times. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what we are doing with our manual timed reveal system. There will also be time or quantity limited fishing events, but more on that later...

We created HeyMint to provide creators with a completely free alternative to PREMINT because we saw so many creators suffering with the high cost of creating a project.
While both HeyMint and PREMINT are free for collectors to use, PREMINT costs creators 1 ETH, or $1800+, just to run allowlist management.
Many NFT creators, especially with the proliferation of free mint projects, either cannot afford those rates or would rather invest that money in more meaningful ways to move their project forward.
Moreover, we offer creators several features that don't exist with PREMINT, which has caused a number of creators who previously used PREMINT to switch over to our platform.
